| Niflheim has a LOT of small islands surrounding it by the looks of that. We should try to settle on one of those, I think. | |

| /agree
But Nilfheim, that sounds cold, and norse, do we want that? I always preferred desert or tropical islands over cold tundra ones...
I would go with Mercia or Mirendil coasts, everybody will head towards the distant island immediatly but if we settle on an island a bit hidden somewhere but with enough fertile land to make some profit (these two look like forrest and grass lands mostly, means cattle and farming) that might be better then the way distant but horribly remote area (remember pyrewood?)

| Just depends on what we want out of our area, Indar. Jungle and grassland islands would probably have more farming areas, whereas north and woodland isles would have more hunting ground? | |

| Something with a forest would also make the clanstone harder to find and give us better protection against potential attackers. | |

| The best and foremost thing we should look for is defencive capabilities, we dont want to find a sweetspot and get hammered out of it every other week now do we? | |

| true, but is that a reason to give it up?
Sitting out in the open is possible, picking a coastal area is possible but will we survive those areas?

| if we got a ship we can scout serveral islands with clanstones at the same time and choose the one we like most
also we dont know if diffrent grounds mean diffrent fertility stuff
it can also be that there just grow other plants or that you can only plant a specific specie
or if you can just plant all seeds on all grounds

| It's unrealistic if you can plant everything everywhere, I think certain types of plant will be native to certain regions... and to be honest, we are a very small clan, so if we find a clanstone that's unclaimed we should be very happy. I don't think we have as much choice as to figure "which one we like the most". | |

| Everything will be claimed within the first three-four days, if not less.
100 Clanstones, approx. 10K players per server simultaneously, with a say 50K changeover daily.
You do the maths. | |

| boats need to be builded first before islands can be colonized
if we try to get someone who can make a more or less decent boat fast and the rest suporting him and then setting sail we might find a few empty islands with clanstones

then we need some others to focus on lumbering some wood and make also some people to get the rest of the boat ingredients whatever those are and after that we set sail to islands near mercia and carin!
