| Assuming that people will follow their natural instinct and migrate to the nearest islands off their local shore, rather than going somewhere far away around the coast, we will have the following setups: Cairn: Humans, Alfar (High Population Races) Rubaiyat: Mirdain, Alfar (Medium-High Population Races) Niflheim: Mahirim (High Population Race) Yssam: Dwarves, Orks (Low Population Races) Therefore, Yssam would be the logical choice since few Oks + Dwarves will be playing, we have a better chance of securing an island around that area. Moreover, Yssam is a jungle, meaning both FERTILE and a WOODLAND, two of the things we were looking for. Yay or nay? tl;dr: Let's go to Yssam, it's awesome and no-one's going there. | |

| Both for IC and OOC reasons: Orcs are extremely agressive, you can expect a lot of people there because this is primarily a pvp game.
Oh and something else that came to mind, the further away you go, the harder the mobs will be to fight? or am I wrong?

If it's unrealistic then yeah, which it probably is because the only developers that apparently know anything about the jungle is Firaxis. Sorry had to say that.

Oh and something else that came to mind, the further away you go, the harder the mobs will be to fight? or am I wrong? Orcs are also the least played race, so... not many people. And it's the further away you go from a racial capital. We're still the same distance away from Flaming Skull/Ymir's Tear if we go there.

| hm... well its possible but it will be dangerous, the players that ARE going for an orc character will probably be the most agressive players. | |

| But then again we just smash them to the ground if a single orc goes "OMFG FORT! MUST DESTROY!" And then is annihilated by our defense. | |

Don't mention that vile game here. Anyways, honestly I don't like the sound of the jungle very much, not as epic an atmosphere as say Niflheim (mountains) or whatever that desert island is.

| Hm true, btw we will most likely all start as dwarf/humans, shouldnt we pick something that isnt to hard to reach for us?
Running across the entire orc territory might not be a good way to recruit people...
