Well later on you could be a rank 3+ military leader if you don't want to become a councillor.

Yes, the military commander is not the overall commander. But like everyone you'll have to show you're capable of handling such post.

we will only need 1 commander when we begin, there isnt much use in squadrons of 1 person now is there?

Our development fase will give the right people the time to get to the right positions, except for me who will already be on the civil council slapping the hell out of our future supreme court... *cough*

Everything is just one big squadron in the beginning, there are different leaders but these are just for the different aspects of our group.

Also, as we want to go for the develop in game IC approach, it might be wise to actually hold elections when the time is there to settle a town.

Unless we develop into a theocracy Razz

But yeah, I do assume we'll have some form of democracy by the end of the second phase or when the third phase starts.

I was thinking about the phases shifting like this:

Westbrook Fellowship founded. Phase 1 begins.

Westbrook Fellowship founds a village. Phase 2 begins.

Westbrook village decides on a set of laws, rights and a form of government. Phase 3 begins.
