Our RP (Barbaric Lifestyle?!)

Seeing as (I think) everyone agrees on the aspect of "noble barbarian" RP, I just wanted to see how many would prefer each type.


Early Celtic: Kilts and Warpaint! We hate the Romans and we're here to kick ass. Normally a peaceful, farming people, we will pick up our masterfully-forged swords (Real spanish iron!) and hide in trees until the Roman treasurers walk past with big treasure chests full of gold. Then we will ambush them with our fierce infantry, expert archers and druids (don't forget the powerful druids!) and take their gold, then eat wild boar and drink ale back in our village, hidden in the woods! (<< Personal favourite)


Nordic/Viking: We are peaceful farmers who ran out of farmland, so we decided to make giant fuck-off axes and build boats, sail to nearby lands and destroy everything in our sight. After that, we take prisoners to be our slaves and settle on our newly conquered land. Rawr?!


Native American: Hao. We respect nature and are fairly peaceful, but if the white devils come over the sea from Europe, we take out our tomahawks and bows and steal their horses and firewater! We make tents out of ritualistically-slain animals, then perform naked raindances to appease our gods.


Medieval British: Oh my! My good sir, we seem to be under attack! Man the lifeboats, the barbaric Scots are coming!

.. Oh no, they've crushed us.


Greeks: Greetings. We sit about here all day, writing books, gothic poetry and songs of lost love. Why does the Sun come up? Are the stars just pinholes in the curtain of night? Who knows, Highlander?.. Then, Xerxes says "Gimme your land." and we are like "THIS IS SPARTA, BITCH!". And we pwn his 10,000 with 300. Yeah. Then we go back to writing gothic poetry.

I vote for Celtic and Nordic! MESS WITH US AND CONSIDER YOURSELF DESTROYED, kk?

Incidentally, the way I remember it is we crushed you, executed your leader then united..the kingdom.

Celtish, Native American and Greeks, this should describe my RL character shouldnt it?

And on another note will we be sacrificing virgins when the full moon rises every three - six hours? (day night cycle in DF is a little bit different then RL I read so we need a lot of virgins to keep our gods happy...Dagren you should just keep creating new chars )
